the model in the photo is me, posing topless in an empty woods. i asked my best friend to take a few shots of my scar with my nikon. i changed them into black and white in photoshop after :)

Your back looks really really great! Honestly! I know it took a lot of effort and pain to get here but you are really healed, at least so it shows! :) I am so happy for you!

I have scoliosis too, getting surgery done next year. Only I will get the scar across my side, my doctor told me. One of the things I looked up to so much about the surgery, was the scar it would give me. (Of course alongside the pain it might give, and the times of recovery.)
This picture is also one of the things that made me realise it isn't so bad. I think it looks beautiful the way it does on you, and not only on you..

I forgot to tell you last time we spoke that one of my friends has scoliosis, she has two metal rods in her spine to keep it straight, she says she can predict the whether with them coz they feel funny when its about to rain lol.

I like this shot but what dose it say on the tree in the bottom left hand side?

i'm not sure, there was a load of graffiti done up that tree, i didn't realise it was in the shot until i got home but i think if i did this again I'd write all over my surroundings, or on my back.
haha! i never felt that with mine! I only felt the ping when one broke! I had two, then one snapped and came through my skin, so I had another two, then a few years after that I had them replaced with just the one, except it's huuge!
